SKY wine carafe

Great wine deserves to be served in style. This elegant glass decanter not only gives wine the chance to breathe and aerate but also adds some contemporary Scandinavian style to the whole process. Ergonomically shaped with a slender neck and dimple at the base, the decanter is easy to hold and pour from and a custom shaped stainless steel coaster catches any escaping droplets of wine and stops them staining the table.

French born Aurelien Barbry starts the whole design process by analysing the use of an object and then working back to create the simplest, most effective, and most beautiful version of it. His Sky collection for Georg Jensen shows the fruits of his efforts with stylish barware perfectly balancing form and function.

The carafe is made from mouth blown and shaped glass and comes with a mirror polished stainless steel coaster.
